Welcome to Friendship Connection!
Friendship Connection is a school-age childcare program for Roseville Area Schools families. We are conveniently located on-site at your child's school to provide seamless care before and after school, on Non-School Days, and during the summer! We offer care Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. to the start of the school day, and from the end of the school day until 6:00 p.m.
Friendship Connection provides a supportive community of classmates and friends for your child. Our programming meets children’s developmental needs through fun and engaging activities like art, music, science, sports, cooking, language arts, reading, technology, and more. Because every child is unique, we work with families to create a place where each child can reach their full potential.

Our Staff
As part of our commitment to nurturing and high-quality childcare, we make sure that all of our staff are equipped with the best training and experiences. Our staff are constantly improving our program and staying up-to-date with innovations in education. Additionally, our staff demonstrate care and respect for children, an ability to relate well to children, sound judgment, dependability, and cooperation with others. In order to keep students safe and engaged, Friendship Connection guarantees a minimum of one staff member per 12 children for grades K-8.
Locations & Transportation
Friendship Connection is offered at all Roseville Area Schools! Children enrolling for the school year program must register for the Friendship Connection site at the school they attend. Parents are responsible for their child’s transportation to and from Friendship Connection.
Pre-K Students
4- and 5-year-old students attending the full-day Pre-K programs at Harambee and Parkview schools will have the option of registering for Friendship Connection at these sites. These students must be 4 by September 1 of the school year they are registering for. Please confirm your registration with Pre-K before submitting your contract.
Summer Care
We offer care for most of the summer! All Friendship Connection sites are closed for two weeks at the end of summer. During that time, families will need to make other childcare arrangements.
Fee Assistance
If you need fee assistance, contact the county you live in to see if you qualify for county assistance. If you do not qualify but need financial assistance, limited scholarships may be available - contact our main office at 651-604-3505.

Non-School Days

Meals
Breakfast and snack are provided on Non-School Days. Lunch is provided as well unless otherwise noted by your Site Coordinator, but you may still choose to send a lunch with your child. We encourage you to send them with food you know they will eat.
Locations
Students from multiple schools sometimes combine at one site for Non-School Days. Please note which school location each date is held at.
Register by the 15th!
Registration is required in order for your student to attend Non-School Days. The registration deadline for Non-School Days in on the 15th of the month prior to the date that you would like your student to attend. For example, if you want your student to join us on November 4, you must register them by October 15 at the latest. Intersessions have extended submission deadlines. You will be notified via email regarding Intersession deadlines.
Fees
The fee for Non-School Days is $46 per day, per child. Tuition will be included in your monthly billing.
How to Register
1) Log into your account at https://isd623.ce.eleyo.com/
2) Click on your Friendship Connection account under the "Your Accounts" button, and then click on the"Register Non-School Days" button on the left side of the page.
3) Click the "Choose Attending Child" button to select who you are registering (each child needing care will need to be registered separately).
4) Click the "Choose Seasons" button and select either "School Year 2024 - 2025" or "Harambee 2024 - 2025" (for Harambee families only). All sites besides Harambee should select "School Year 2024 – 2025" regardless of the Non-School Day location. (Example: If your child is an Edgerton or Little Canada student, you would still select "School Year 2025 - 2025" even if the Non-School Day for them will be held at Harambee).
5) Select the dates you would like your child to attend, and then your site location.
6) You will receive an email from the online system confirming that you have submitted a Non-School Day request. All registrations received by the registration deadline are guaranteed care.
Late Registrations
If you miss the registration deadline, we can only take children on a space-available basis. Please check with your Site Coordinator. Registrations approved after the deadline will be charged a $10.00 per Non-School Day, per child late registration fee. See the Family Handbook as additional charges may apply.
Changes & Cancellations
Cancellations before the deadline can be made in your account. No changes or cancellations will be accepted after the 15th of the current month. Find "Current and Upcoming Contracts" and then click on your child’s contract. Then under "Non-School Days" click the red "Remove" button next to the day(s) you need to cancel.

How to Use Registration Website
Online Registration System Instructions
Account Log In & Set Up
Friendship Connection uses an online registration and account management system. If you are unable to register online, we can help. Please contact your Out of School Time Site Coordinator or call the main Friendship Connection office at 651-604-3505.
All Roseville Area Schools Community Education programs use the same online system; if you have registered in the past for Friendship Connection, an enrichment class, ECFE, Pre-K or swimming, you are already in our system. Be aware of any duplicate accounts or if your child was added previously.
To begin your registration, please find the appropriate starting point below.
BRAND NEW FAMILIES
If you have never registered for Friendship Connection or any other Roseville Area Schools Community Education programs, please follow this process:
1. Go to https://isd623.ce.eleyo.com/child-care/3/friendship-connection
2. Click on "Sign In" button in the upper right corner.
3. Complete the Register a New Account form.
4. Continue to Account Relationships step below.
FAMILIES WHO REGISTERED PREVIOUSLY USING PAPER REGISTRATION FORMS
If you registered for Friendship Connection or any Roseville Area Schools Community Education adult, youth, swim, ECFE or Pre-K programs since 2013 by completing paper registration forms, YOU ARE ALREADY IN OUR SYSTEM! Please DO NOT create an account. Instead, follow this process:
1. Go to https://isd623.ce.eleyo.com/child-care/3/friendship-connection
2. Click on "Sign In" button in the upper right corner.
3. Enter the email associated with your account and click "Next."
4. Click "Forgot Password?" and the system will send you an email with a link to set your password.
5. Continue to Account Relationships step below.
If you do not yet have an email set up in the system, please call the main Friendship Connection office at 651-604-3505 to get set up.
CURRENT FRIENDSHIP CONNECTION/COMMUNITY EDUCATION FAMILIES WHO ALREADY HAVE LOGINS SET UP
1. Go to https://isd623.ce.eleyo.com/child-care/3/friendship-connection
2. Click on "Sign In" button in the upper right corner.
3. Enter the email associated with your account and click "Next."
4. Enter your password and then click "Sign In."
5. Continue to Account Relationships step below.
Account Relationships
Please check these in your account:
1. After signing into your account, look under "Manage Family Members" to see which of your family members have been set up.
2. If you need to add a child to be registered or a spouse on your account, select "Manage All Relationships" and then "Add a Relationship."
3. Complete the form (required fields are indicated with an asterisk). For Friendship Connection: you must enter a grade and the child’s home school. Be sure to indicate any special needs your child has in the special needs field. Select "Create Person."
Registering for 2024-2025 Friendship Connection
Once your account and your relationships (all children that will be registering) have been created, you may easily register for Friendship Connection.
1. On the main page, point to "Enroll in Friendship Connection." If you don’t see that, click on "Community Education" in the upper left corner, click on the photo with Friendship Connection, then click on "Enroll Now" on the left side.
2. Select the correct child under "Attending Child," and verify that child’s information is correct. If it is select "Looks Good. Start Registering." If it is not, select "Edit Child Info" and make the necessary changes.
3. Verify or add the required 3 emergency contacts, then select "Verify Contacts/Pickups and Continue."
4. Under "Choose a Season," choose “School Year 2024-2025,” “Harambee 2024-2025” or “Summer 2024" (be careful because the current school year may still be a choice). Read through the season’s information.
5. Under "Choose a Location", select the Site/School your child will attend or choose "Non-School Day Only" if you only need non-school days and click "Use Location and Continue."
6. Read the Friendship Connection Registration Agreement then click the check box "I have read and agree to the above terms and conditions" then "Accept Terms and Continue."
7. Next "Choose a Schedule Type," complete the schedule form and select "Complete Schedule Setup and Continue."
8. Answer all required questions. These questions serve as the emergency information needed by the site. Then select "Complete Questions and Continue."
9. Enter the payment method for your Registration Fee (credit/debit card or checking/savings account). Please refer to your registration information for specifics on registration fee amounts. Note: Your account will not be charged until your registration has been approved. If you want to enroll in AutoPay, you can do so on this screen.
10. Select "Complete Registration."
11. You will receive an email confirmation about your request. You will also receive a confirmation once your request has been approved and your account has been charged for the registration fees.
12. Repeat steps 1-10 for an additional season for the same child (summer/school year).
3. If you are registering more than one child, repeat the above process.
Setting up Authorized Pickups Online
Friendship Connection uses an iPad at each site for student sign-in and sign-out. Parents must set up Authorized Pickups online. Everyone who you would like to be able to drop off or pick up your child must be entered as an authorized pickup.
1. Once logged in, look under "Current and Upcoming Enrollments" to find "Your Accounts" and select your Friendship Connection account.
2. To add an authorized pickup to your family profile, select the "Manage Authorized Pickups
button from the left side.
3. Under child’s name, near the bottom of the screen, select the "Add Authorized Pickups" button.
4. Enter the authorized pickup name, phone number and any notes about that pickup. NOTE: Authorized pickups should be added to each child. To add an un-authorized contact, notify the office at 651-604-3505.
5. Use the red "-" button to remove a pickup if necessary.
6. When finished adding or removing an authorized pickup, select Save Authorized Pickups.
Making the Most of Your Online Account
In your online account, you can view Friendship Connection invoices and make payments. All accounts are set up as paperless accounts in the system. You can download and print invoices in your account if needed and can access your end-of-year tax information online (no paper copy of your end-of-year statement will be sent). You can also add a credit/debit card or checking/savings account for Auto-pay.

2. Look under "Current and Upcoming Enrollments" to find "Your Accounts" and select your Friendship Connection account.

Registration is open for School Year 2024-2025!
Please Note: Registrations will take time to process. Your site may be on a waitlist due to staffing. You may submit your registration and we will contact you with the potential start date (if staffing is available) or an update regarding the site you are enrolled at.
Current Fees, Schedule Options, & Timeline
We are a school-age childcare program offered at all Roseville Area elementary schools during the school year and select sites during the summer. Children enrolling for school year must register for the Friendship Connection site at the school they attend, and care is only available for students enrolled in Roseville Area Schools. Summer care is offered to students entering grades K-8, and care is available for all members of the community.
Registration Fees
• Early Bird fees from February 26-March 8: $20/child summer, $20/child school year.
• Regular fees begin March 9: $30/child summer, $30/child school year.
• Tuition fees for all contract types are listed below.
Registration Timeline
• February 26-March 8: Registration guaranteed if received by 3/8/2024.
• March 9: All registrations received beginning this day will be accepted on a space available basis for summer 2024 and school year 2024-25.
• May 15: All summer registrations must be received in order to begin on June 12. Summer registrations received between May 16 through June 14 will begin on June 17 if space is available.
• August 1: All school year registrations must be received in order to begin on September 3. Registrations received between August 2-September 6 will begin on September 9 if space is available. Anticipate a waitlist in Aug/September.
School Year General Information
Before school care:
• Available from 6:30 AM until school start (no before school care is available at Parkview)
• Students will have the option of attending breakfast
After school care:
• Available from school dismissal until 6:00 PM
• An afternoon snack is offered
Non-school day care:
• We are open from 6:30 AM-6:00 PM on most non-school days.
• Some sites combine on non-school days.
• Registration for non-school days is done on a monthly basis. The registration deadline is always the 15th of the month prior to the non-school day day.
• Monthly registration information will be emailed to families and available on-site.
Schedule Options
1) Consistent Schedule:
• Same schedule of before and/or after school care every week, 1-5 days per week
2) Pick Your Days:
• Schedule varies from week to week or month to month
• Must choose at least one date in your schedule – you will be billed for that date
• Monthly schedules must be submitted by the 15th of the previous month
• Please submit a schedule change with your selected days versus adding Drop-In Care. Drop-In Care may be selected after a month has been invoiced.
3) Non-School Day Only:
• For families only registering for care on non-school days (no regular school days)
• Must register for non-school days by the 15th of the month prior to the non-school day
