Discovering Success in School and Life

Our goal is to give students every opportunity to succeed. Targeted Services provides students with the extra help they may need  to succeed in school and also excel in life.

Qualifying students are invited to attend before- or after-school classes during the school year and attend our 5-week summer program. Targeted Services is a free, year-round program that helps students in grades K-8 improve their math and reading abilities. Transportation is provided along with either breakfast for before-school classes, an afternoon snack for after-school classes, or both breakfast and lunch during the summer program.

Our Targeted Services opportunities are taught by licensed teachers who work closely with students to help meet individual students' needs in math and reading, preparing them for success during the school day. Targeted Services classes are engaging and comfortable environments for learning. There are typically no more than 15 students per teacher. In Targeted Services, parents and teachers work together to develop an educational plan that is tailored to that student. While Targeted Services instruction focuses mainly on math and reading, we know it is critical to also provide students with a well-rounded education, so students in Targeted Services also participate in various enrichment activities, including field trips.
