Thriving in School and Far Beyond

Unity Center offers students in 4th - 8th grade and their families a place to get extra help and participate in a variety of academic, artistic, cultural, career, and social and emotional growth opportunities outside the school day, on some non-school days, and during the summer. These opportunities equip students with the skills to thrive in school and far beyond.

Unity Centers are federally funded through a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant. To make this project successful, we rely on partnerships from families, community members, businesses, the Suburban Ramsey Family Collaborative, Shoreview YMCA, the Ramsey County Library-Roseville, and 4-H.

Roseville Area Schools Community Education is applying for Cohort 10 of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant, funded through the Minnesota Department of Education. This grant would allow us to expand the community learning centers in our district, which provide high-quality academic support, enrichment and youth development programs during non-school hours for students and their families.

We participate in an annual continuous program improvement cycle in order to ensure high-quality opportunities for our students. Program evaluation results are available upon request. For more information, please contact kim.arsenault@isd623.org.
